Zermatt Engagement with a View of Matterhorn

Ryan & Jia Huan’s winter engagement at Rotenboden was one of those moments that feels almost unreal — bright sun, dramatic mountain views, and a perfectly snow-covered landscape. It was a secret proposal, so after arriving by train I quietly walked around and waited for the right opening. Rotenboden can be busy, and I didn’t want to rush the moment or have a crowd around them. When people finally drifted away and the viewpoint was completely empty, everything aligned for a perfect, intimate “yes.” The photoshoot itself was short but really fun, filled with excitement, relief, and that fresh-after-the-proposal glow. A simple, beautiful session that captured a huge milestone.
