Adventure Elopement Zermatt with a View of Matterhorn

A very intimate Zermatt elopement on a beautiful summer evening, crowned by an incredible sunset. We photographed around Rotenboden and the Riffelberg area, with stunning Matterhorn views that made everything feel very cinematic. The atmosphere was quiet, emotional, and wonderfully simple — just the two of them and the mountains.

And then the Alps reminded us who’s in charge. The temperature dropped suddenly, and we ended up running for the train. Luckily, we all had comfortable shoes, which made the quick escape a lot easier. Moments like this are a perfect reminder that in the mountains, being prepared matters: layers and good footwear can save the day.
