These secret engagements at Grindelwald First were meant to happen in a green meadow with early spring finally waking up — fresh grass, soft colors, that first warm-season feeling. But the evening before, the weather surprised us with an unexpected snowfall. Suddenly the plan flipped, and the surprise became double: not only the proposal itself, but a winter backdrop we absolutely didn’t see coming. Instead of spring green, we had fresh white snow, crisp mountain air, and a dramatic, clean alpine scene that made the moment feel even more cinematic and unforgettable. It’s one of those perfect reminders that the mountains don’t always follow our plans — and sometimes that’s exactly what makes the story stronger. I’m genuinely glad the timing worked out, because this kind of natural twist turns a beautiful engagement into a once-in-a-lifetime memory. And honestly, I hope this little game of nature is a good sign for everything that comes next.
