This Männlichen family photoshoot in the Swiss Alps took place in the early evening, about an hour before the cable car closed. It was the second part of the session after Wengen, and I wanted to share this part because I photograph Männlichen less often, even though it’s a great family-friendly mountain location.
Männlichen is ideal for families with kids because everything is easy and close by: open walking paths with wide views, a playground, and a restaurant for a warm break. In summer, the cows nearby often become a fun little highlight for children. While Männlichen can be busy, it’s usually easy to find quieter spots by walking a few minutes away from the main area, which gives us more space for natural, playful family photos with clean backgrounds and beautiful mountain scenery.
