Wengen is one of my favorite places for a surprise proposal. All year round, but especially in late spring, when the meadows are in bloom and the air still feels crisp, everything looks clean, bright, and effortlessly romantic. On this day the timing was perfect, blue sky, wildflowers everywhere, and that calm Wengen atmosphere that makes it easy to keep the moment private.
She truly had no idea what was coming, and that reaction is exactly why I love photographing surprise engagements. Right after the proposal we kept it simple and just moved, walked, laughed, and let the session unfold naturally. No complicated posing, no pressure, just a playful photoshoot with a lot of energy and a lot of love.
